OK, we all know that this one is false, but where did this crazy idea come from?
The church and the medical profession conspired to give masturbation a bad name.
In the 1700's snake oil salesmen compared post masturbation disease to the plague.
One opponent of masturbation in the 1700's claimed that spanking the monkey led to poor eyesight, epilepsy, memory loss, acne and just about every other possible disease known to man.
In the 1900's there were anti-masturbation devices that would monitor erections and give an electric shock to the penis or jab it with spikes.
Some sex manuals suggested a boy resist temptation by sitting with his genitals in a bowl of ice water.
Fact is, masturbation does not cause blindness, insanity or any other physical ailments, but it may cause laundry problems.
It's healthy to say that this sex myth is FALSE!
