Sex Myth - Men Reach Their Sexual Peak at 18 Years Old

How can someone barely old enough to buy a porn magazine be accused of reaching their sexual peak?
The source of this depressing rumour comes from early opinions of the role of testosterone.
At puberty testosterone gives a young boy sexual fantasies, frequent erections and wet dreams.
Testosterone seems to fuel desire especially at a younger age and leads to shorter recovery time after sex.
By these standards an 18 year old is at his sexual peak but there's more to sex than hormones.
